Marvel Studio‘s action-adventure series is about Marc Spector, a psychologically fascinating vigilante who has multiple identities living within him who all play their parts in the new series which is for Disney+. The show has an Egyptian iconography theme. Although the show will be filmed in other locations too, it is expected a large part will be filmed in Budapest.

Oscar Isaac, who stars in the Moon Knight series, is no stranger to filming in Budapest, as the majority of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune film was made in the capital city. Dune was made at ORIGO Studios, who are the only studio in Budapest to have the “Hollywood-standard” infrastructure for a series like Marvel’s so we believe filming will take place there. At ORIGO many major productions were filmed such as Dune, Blade Runner, Gemini Man, Inferno, etc.

Budapest is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which may mean that it will also be identified as “Budapest” in the series.

[box] Another Marvel’s new origin movie, the Black Widow was shot in the Hungarian capital with the freshly two-time Oscar-nominated Scarlett Johansson. The new trailer for the film has just been released and although it operates with fewer Budapest images, it is still visible that the movie will be full of Hungarian locations. [/box]
