Domonkos Erhardt’s animated short called From the Corner of my Eyes will compete at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival between 16 and 26 February.
The film, made by students of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), will have its world premiere in the Generation 14+ programme of the festival. The last time a MOME animation was competing among the Berlinale‘s short films was in 2019, when Flóra Anna Buda‘s graduation film “Entropia” won the Teddy Award.
The short film, which captivatitingly presents the atmosphere of the Hungarian capital Budapest, shows two people, who’ve never met before, share a fleeting moment on a bus. A boy on his way home to his girlfriend notices a nice girl sitting on the opposite side of the bus and starts imagining their lives together.
