Uma Thurman Training Hard for Ballerina Overdrive While Filming in Budapest

Golden Globe-winning actress Uma Thurman is currently in Budapest, where she’s been busy shooting her latest action-thriller, Ballerina Overdrive. Directed by Vicky Jewson, the film follows a group of ballerinas caught in a dangerous situation while stranded at a remote inn. Joining Thurman in the cast are Lana Condor, Maddie Ziegler, and Iris Apatow.

In addition to filming, Thurman has been rigorously training at Budapest’s Flex Gym with renowned Hungarian trainer Ádám Szedlacskó, who is also a close friend of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Szedlacskó shared his pride in training the actress, praising her dedication to staying fit for the physically demanding role.

The shoot, which began in August, is set to wrap up in early October. Thurman’s latest venture adds to Budapest’s growing reputation as a key destination for Hollywood productions, joining the ranks of major films shot in the city.
