Hungarian filmmaker, Péter Engelmann’s film Triangle has recently been shortlisted for the Student Academy Awards and for the 2021 BAFTA Student Awards.
“Triangle” is a British-Hungarian co-production, written and directed by Péter Engelmann, starring Lili Vetlényi, József S. Kovács, Dániel Gaál, Lilla Kovács, Dávid Zoltán György, and Simon Bazsányi. Cinematographer was Csaba Bántó, and the composer was Sam Dinley. The entire shooting was done in Budapest because of the pandemic.
Although it is a UK film school graduation production, the crew members are Hungarians, except from the composer. The film has been shortlisted for the 2021 BAFTA Student Awards in Live Action category. Arts University Bournemouth has chosen “Triangle” to be this year’s contender at the Student Academy Awards. It’s worth highlighting that because a UK film school submitted a Hungarian production to the student Oscar’s.
