Borderlands announced in a Twitter post that production is officially complete. In the caption they started teasing the release date of the movie.
The production of Lionsgate‘s “Borderlands” has been completed after three months of filming in Hungary. To celebrate the filming wrap, the studio released a behind-the-scenes photo of Claptrap.
In the video game Claptrap is a CL4P-TP general purpose robot manufactured by Hyperion. It has been programmed with an overenthusiastic personality, and brags frequently, yet also expresses severe loneliness and cowardice. He will probably play a similar character in the film, where he is set to be voiced by Jack Black.
Claptrap really wanted to let you all know he made it down the stairs safely. That, and the production of #BorderlandsMovie has officially wrapped! See you at the theaters in 20 💣 💣 pic.twitter.com/69NFljVjDc
