Now or Never! - Most Expensive Hungarian Movie Ever Drops Teaser

The first, action-packed teaser trailer of Now or Never!, the most expensive Hungarian film of all time, is here.

The movie, made with a budget of over HUF 6 billion, is about Sándor Petőfi, Hungary’s most iconic poet, and the events unfolding in the March of 1848, the year when the country rose up against Habsburg oppression. The teaser itself shows blazing guns and marching crowds and characters fighting in an impressive set of period costumes, against the backdrop of mid-1800’s Hungary.

The film is produced and co-screenwritten by Philip Rákay, with Vajk Szente and Márk Kis-Szabó also contributing to the script. The main roles are assumed by by Nándor Berettyán (who plays the protagonist Sándor Petőfi who can be seen at the end of the trailer), Tibor Fehér, Sára Mosolygó and Balázs Koltai-Nagy.

Directed by Balázs Lóth, “Now or Never!” is set to hit the cinemas in March 2024.
