Filming is well underway for the second season of Shadow and bone. One by one, the stars of the series share pictures of what they are doing in Budapest.
Of course, as well as enjoying the city, work is in full swing. The filming is most likely taking place at ORIGO Studios, given that the majority of the pictures were taken in the capital.

Filming could last until July, or even longer if the epidemic situation turns out to be such that the producers have to stop, although for now the prospects are good in that respect, too, with no need to hold back productions that are filming here. So fans of the series can expect no sequel to “Shadow and Bone” before 2023, or if there is, it will not be until the very end of the year.

When Variety interviewed showrunner Eric Heisserer, Heisserer said that “Shadow and Bone could potentially be a series that could last longer than three seasons. If that’s the case, and Netflix wants to pull the plug after three seasons, it could be done. But in that case, I would definitely support the story continuing in a spin-off.” So fans needn’t worry, they’ll definitely be able to watch their favourite series for a while longer.
